A Valentine’s Day Start for Wedding Wednesdays

As the home to the celebrated LOVE sculpture, LOVE Park celebrates Valentine’s Day all year long! It’s also the place to be if you are:

Looking for a great spot for a Valentine’s Day selfie.
Thinking about renewing your wedding vows.
Searching for a sweet backdrop for your wedding.

Special events are planned at the park to mark Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2022. Valentine’s Day also marks the start of registration for Parks & Rec’s Wedding Wednesdays. This weekly event takes place every Wednesday from March to early November. It gives couples a chance to get married in front of the LOVE sculpture.

Valentine’s Day makeover

Whatever the weather, LOVE Park will be the HOT place to get your photo taken this February! Parks & Rec is partnering with Visit Philly to decorate the park for Valentine’s Day. Starting February 5, you’ll find a romantic backdrop for selfies. There will also a photo-booth for professional quality shots.

Rise + Grind + Get Married event

On February 14, couples who won the Rise + Grind Morning Show’s “Rise + Grind + Get Married” contest will say “I do” in the park. Each year this event helps kick off Parks & Rec’s Wedding Wednesdays season. Tune into the radio broadcast at 99FM to learn about the winning couples’ stories. Wedding Wednesdays: get married in LOVE Park

Celebrate the love of your life with a truly unique wedding venue this year. Reserve your spot on any Wednesday from March 16 to November 2, 2022. Ceremonies take place between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and each one is 30 minutes long. Time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Newlyweds aren’t the only ones invited to celebrate! Married couples looking to renew their vows in a memorable way are encouraged to join in the LOVE.
