It’s ice skating season! It doesn’t matter whether you play for the Flyers, or you’ve never skated before. Philadelphia’s public ice rinks have something for everyone!

Here are five facts you need to know:

  1. Admission for public skating is FREE at all five ice rinks. You are encouraged to bring your own skates! You can rent ice skates for $3-4 (price varies by rink). Staff will sanitize rental skates after use.
  2. Time slots MUST BE RESERVED IN ADVANCE. Unfortunately, in order to keep the public safe as we continue to battle Covid-19, drop-in skating will not be allowed. All those who wish to participate in public skate must pre-register online.
  3. All our rinks offer ice skating lessons. Don’t know how to skate? No problem! You can reserve a time slot online with an instructor.
  4. All visitors and staff must wear masks. Sorry, goalie masks don’t count!
  5. Locker rooms, water fountains, and concessions are not available.

If you register to skate and cannot attend, please cancel your registration. This will allow others to use the limited time slots. To cancel your registration, use the registration link.
