In Philly, we LOVE diversity and we are very proud of the many vibrant immigrant communities that make up our unique city. Each year the Office of the City Representative works closely with the Office of Immigrant Affairs to honor these communities, through the Philadelphia Honors Diversity Flag Raising Program.

Since the program’s inception in 2016, more than 40 countries have proudly flown their national flags at City Hall to celebrate their culture and heritage and to highlight the positive contributions that their communities have made to Philadelphia.

Philadelphia is home to many and in 2020, we continue to celebrate our diversity with a busy line up of flag raising ceremonies.
