Love Your Park Week is May 11-19, 2019. Parks across Philadelphia will host volunteer service days and special events. These efforts will help:
  • revitalize our green spaces
  • create safe, welcoming, and fun recreation opportunities in parks across the city.
Here’s what you need to know about Love Your Park Week:
  • Over 100 parks will host cleanup service days.
  • 40 fun events scheduled throughout the week will help you explore new parks and revisit your favorites!
  • We need more than 2,500 volunteers to help us.
  • Most volunteer events take place on Saturday, May 11. This includes the signature event at Marconi Plaza.
  • Some sites need more volunteers, while other parks only need a few neighbors to help out.

Love Your Park Week is a partnership among Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Fairmount Park Conservancy, and the Park Friends Network.

Thanks to Parks & Rec’s Operations Division for delivering mulch & compost to Friends groups to help make their cleanups a success.
