City to Host Philadelphia 76ers Community Watch Party this Saturday, April 27
PHILADELPHIA — The City of Philadelphia, VISIT PHILADELPHIA®, the Philadelphia 76ers, and Comcast NBCUniversal are teaming up to host Phila Unite: Philadelphia 76ers Community Watch Party this Saturday, April 27. Mayor Kenney invites all 76ers fans to cheer on the home team as they compete against the Toronto Raptors in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals in the 2019 NBA Playoffs.
Watch parties will be held at the following two locations ahead of the 7:30 p.m. game:
- LOVE Park in Center City Philadelphia (15th and Arch Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19102) Fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets. The game will be streamed on an outdoor LED screen.
- Cecil B. Moore Recreation Center (2551 N. 22nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19132) Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The venue can accommodate the first 150 people in line, so guests are encouraged to arrive early. Seating will be provided.
Entertainment at LOVE Park will include 76ers mascot Franklin and the Sixers Stixers, and guests can purchase food from various food trucks that will be on site for the event. Both locations will have DJs.
