The annual Philly Spring Cleanup will take place on Saturday, April 6! It’s the largest citywide cleanup of the year, and we need your help to make it a success.
Volunteering for a project
We depend on the thousands of volunteers who take part in cleaning their neighborhoods and parks each year. Your enthusiasm and dedication will make this the best year yet!
Choose from about 300 projects all over the city. You can stay local or help a different neighborhood. Grab a friend or neighbor and volunteer together!

Click “Volunteer for a Project” at the top of the screen.
Click the dropdown menu or use the map to choose a neighborhood and explore the available projects.
Click “Sign Me Up” next to the project that’s right for you!
City of Philadelphia official cleanup project
This year, the Mayor’s Office and City of Philadelphia employees will head to Kensington for our Philly Spring Cleanup project!
It’s part of the Philadelphia Resilience Project, our emergency response to the opioid crisis. This will be the fifth major cleanup in the neighborhood since November 2018.

Registering your project
Why register your project? We’ll list it on the official Philly Spring Cleanup website so that volunteers can find it and sign up to support it.
Plus we’ll assist in planning, collect trash and recyclables from your cleanup, and provide these supplies:
- Trash bags
- Rakes
- Gloves
- Shovels
- Brooms
