If you received a “Warning of Risk of Tax Foreclosure” letter in the mail, take it seriously. Now is the time pay your Real Estate Tax bill in full, or enroll into a payment plan.

If you keep ignoring your bill, your home could end up at a public auction, also called a Sheriff Sale.

Check out the full text of the letter to learn about programs that help you stay in your home. We’ve recently expanded the Owner-Occupied Payment Agreement (OOPA) to help more Philadelphia residents. The new OOPA includes:

  • Minimum monthly payments as low as $0 for homeowners who qualify
  • No required down payment

The letter also has information on housing counseling agencies that help you apply to OOPA and other programs.

Is English not your first language? We’ve posted the letter in Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Arabic, Korean and French too.

Waiting to pay only increases your bill, so take action today!
