The forecast is calling for beautiful sunny days in the ‘80s this weekend, so it’s a great time to enjoy that end-of-summer sun at a Philadelphia Parks & Recreation site near you!

We’ve got a few picks for events to check out, from nighttime outdoor movies, to Brews at Burholme, to the start of play-in Unity Cup games.

Movie night: A Wrinkle in Time

Clark Park will transform into an outdoor amphitheater to showcase a film projected on a giant screen for the entire family to enjoy. There is a 6 p.m. start for food vendors, with the movie beginning at 8 p.m.

Brews at Burholme

Join Burholme Park Golf Center and Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company for a splendid day at Burholme Park! Enjoy special discounts from the golf center and draft beer from the brewery. Bring the whole family to check out Ryerss Museum & Library and the park’s playground beforehand!

Yoga at Cobbs Creek

Roots2Rise Yoga offers community yoga at Cobbs Creek each Saturday. All levels are welcome– bring a mat and some water!

Community fishing

Every Saturday this summer, join your neighbors and friends for free community fishing days. There are lessons for kids with bait, rods, and instructions available. Fishing license not required for children under 16. Meet at the ponds!

Unity Cup play-in games

The Unity Cup play-in round games take place this weekend! These games determine which teams make it into the Round of 16 to join our top 6 seeds. Who else will make the cut? Check out a game to see.
