(Philadelphia, PA) – The Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT Philly) is hosting a Black Friday Adoption Event featuring fee-waived adoptions on all pets running Black Friday, November 24th through Sunday, November 26th, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
“Black Friday is traditionally devoted to holiday shopping, but what it’s really about is holiday giving,” said Vincent Medley, Executive Director of ACCT Philly. “By adopting a pet, you’re giving love and a home to a pet in need. What greater gift is there?”
The Black Friday Adoption Event takes place at ACCT Philly’s main shelter location on 111 W Hunting Park Ave, Philadelphia. All regular adoption screenings and procedures apply.
The shelter notes that on Saturday, November 25th the back parking lot will be closed for repairs, but the front lot is open for visitor parking. There is additional parking accessible via Bristol Street at neighboring businesses Esperanza/In the Light Ministries (191 W Hunting Park Ave) and Fortaleza Rehabilitation and Fitness Center (133 W Hunting Park Ave).
