PHILADELPHIA – Wednesday afternoon, Mayor Kenney, President Judge Woods-Skipper, Police Commissioner Ross, Acting Prisons Commissioner Resnick, Chief Defender Keir Bradford-Grey and other City criminal justice partners will officially announce the receipt of the MacArthur Safety and Justice Challenge Grant. This grant will provide critical fiscal support for Philadelphia’s efforts to reduce its incarcerated population by 34 percent over the next three years.
